Biography


Arif Anwary is currently working as a Research Associate at Edinburgh Napier University and Data Scientist at Ace Aquatec. He gained PhD in “An Automatic Wearable Multi-Sensor Based Gait Analysis System for Older Adults” from Bournemouth University, MPhil from University of Wolverhampton, M.Sc. in Computer Science from Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, and B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh. He was Assistant Professor in academics resulted 15+ years R&D experience with 4 grants (over £50K), 8 awards, 20+ publications and 30+ projects. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in cutting-edge technologies with a large portfolio of multidisciplinary projects (Sensors: Wearable, Ambient and Vision; Signal Processing, Image Processing, IoT/Cloud, Machine Learning, Gait Analysis, Statistical Shape Analysis, Fuzzy System, Assistive Technology, Healthcare and Rapid Prototyping).
