Biography

Dr. Puranjan Mishra is currently working as a Post-doc research fellow at Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. He has investigated the effect of nanomaterials on microbial activity for hydrogen production and wastewater treatment using fermentative process during his doctoral research at the Faculty of engineering technology, Malaysia, and successfully received a Ph.D. degree in 2018 for his work on Renewable Energy and environmental engineering. He completed his MPhil in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, India in 2014 with a specialization in Enzyme Technology. He has published more than 40 articles in (Web of Science, Thomson Reuters) high indexed journals along with 5 book chapters and Editor of the book from Elsevier Publication house. His current research interests include Environmental engineering, Bio-nanotechnology, and Biomass-based energy production.
