Biography

Dr. Lakhveer Singh is a faculty at the Department of Environment Science, SRMUniversity Amaravati, AP. Earlier, I worked as an Associate Professor at University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia and as post-doctoral researcher at Oregon State University, Corvallis, USA. After obtaining my PhD from University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia in 2013. My major areas of research expertise are Energy production, Bioelectrochemical Systems, Wastewater Treatment, and Nanomaterial synthesis for sustainable applications. Dr. Singh has developed and upscale a hybrid bioelectrochemical system that contains highly efficient bacteria and novel cloth electrode assemblies with low-cost cathodes for hydrogen production from wastewater and lignocellulosic biomass. I have 3 patents, edited 16 books (ACS, Elsevier, CRC etc.), published over 90 scientific papers (>3000 citations; h-index 31) and 15 book chapters. I have supervised 5 Ph.D and completed more than 10 R&D projects (total budget more than 1 crore). I have delivered more than 10 international invited talks. I am in Editorial board member for Journal of Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery (Springer, I.F. 4.98). I have research collaborations with several international and national institutes and universities.
